Orlando Pirates has suffered another injury ahead of their MTN8 quarterfinal match against SuperSport United this weekend.

The Bucs medical team has informed Orlandopiratesfc.com that defender Thabiso Lebitso will miss Saturday’s match against Matsatsantsa after failing to recover from an injury sustained in a preseason friendly against Al Sadd the previous month.

Musaab Khidir, a defender, delivered a vicious challenge to the hardworking right back. As a result of the tackle, the Bucs medical team determined that Lebitso has a knee injury that will keep him out for at least three months. Miguel Timm, another casualty of the match against Al Sadd, will face a late fitness test. The 32-year-old is now treating an ankle injury.
