Orlando Pirates block Simba’s transfer to Okejepha

Orlando Pirates, a South African Premier League club, have attempted to hijack Augustine Okejepha’s move to Tanzanian club Simba SC.

According to reports, Simba SC has reached an agreement with Rivers United to acquire the player.

Okejepha was scheduled to be in Tanzania next week to conclude the move.

Orlando Pirates have now made a N300 million offer to Rivers United for the player.

The fee is more than the N270 offered by Simba.

The 20-year-old midfielder played 26 games for Rivers United last season.

He previously competed for Warri Wolves in the Nigeria National League.
