Ohio State Head Coach criticized staff member who left for Michigan in an unusual way

Erin Dunston, Ohio State’s Director of On-Campus Recruiting, announced her departure from the program this week to join Michigan, their archrivals.

The Buckeyes saw running back coach Tony Alford do the same thing earlier this spring, and now they’ve lost another key staff member to their fiercest opponent. According to a report on the internet, which is supported by several trustworthy sources, Ryan Day cursed out Dunston for leaving and moving to Michigan.

Rumor Has It Ryan Day Was Not Happy With Dunston Leaving Ohio State

This week, a discussion thread on the 247sports insider site indicated that Ryan Day was upset about Dunston’s departure, which turned him inside out. Sam Webb of Michigan Insider reported that he received many phone calls that day, cussed her out, and had her removed out of the building.

Zach Smith, a former Ohio State wide receiver coach, also revealed on his Menace 2 Sports podcast that he overheard Day cursing out Dunston.

Here’s the podcast from Thursday; the clip begins around the one-hour and two-minute mark.

Of course, Ohio State fans will go bananas about this, and here’s what they had to say.
