Nuno Espirito Santo may consider leaving Nottingham Forest this summer amid interest from top European side

Nuno Espirito Santo, the manager of Nottingham Forest, is apparently being pursued by Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich’s well-publicized and lengthy search for a new head coach has apparently led them to Nottingham Forest’s Nuno Espirito Santo as a possible option.

The German club is in a position after being rejected by their top six selections, which include indomitable Bundesliga winner Xabi Alonso, incoming Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner, and most recently Thomas Tuchel. He is the one who is quitting the position, but it was part of Bayern’s last-ditch effort to persuade him to reconsider.

A new analysis of the scenario from BILD has identified up to 15 managers across the continent who may still be approached despite the rising pressure, including Forest’s present manager.

The claim comes at a concerning moment, given recent speculation that Nuno has yet to guarantee his commitment to the Premier League team he has recently retained. It was claimed that negotiations would be held at the City Ground to establish whether he would complete the remaining two years of his contract, which elicited varied reactions from fans.

According to the newest rumor from the German tabloid, the 50-year-old is now ‘under consideration’ as a ‘outside of the box’ alternative.

Interestingly, he is not the only coach in England who has been linked with the surprising swap. Premier League opponents Bournemouth have also been alerted about an offer for Andoni Iraola, while relegated Burnley’s Vincent Kompany has surfaced as an unexpected top target in recent days.

Eddie Howe of Newcastle United is also said to have been mentioned in internal negotiations, but is no longer under consideration.
