Nottingham Forest are desperate to capture an Arsenal player worth £50 million during the summer transfer window.

Arsenal’s summer transfer window has started slowly, but Riccardo Calafiori is now on the verge of signing.

Mikel Arteta is looking to add a central midfielder and an attacker to his squad, with Mikel Merino and Nico Williams said to be key targets.

To complete these transfers, they will need to offload players, and Nottingham Forest are quite interested in signing one of their outcasts.

Nottingham Forest dreaming of move to sign Aaron Ramsdale

According to Alan Nixon, Nottingham Forest are hoping to recruit Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

The Gunners’ number two is poised to leave this summer after losing his place to David Raya last season.

Newcastle were considering a move, but it seems unlikely to happen, thus Forest are now hoping to sign him on a loan.

Ramsdale has a £50 million price tag that the East Midlanders are unwilling to fulfill; but, they are willing to play the waiting game in the hope that Arsenal softens their attitude and allows him to leave on loan towards the end of the window.

Reiss Nelson also attracting interest

Reiss Nelson is another Arsenal player who could be on his way out this summer.

The 24-year-old is being pursued by newly promoted Leicester City, who are hopeful of reaching an agreement with the Gunners.

Emile Smith Rowe is on the verge of leaving West London club Fulham for a cost of £35 million, making him the club’s record sale.
