As the transfer window nears its end, Nottingham Forest is interested in Fulham midfielder Andreas Pereira.

Several clubs expressed interest in Pereira throughout the summer, including Marseille, Juventus, and Chelsea.

Forest are said to be the latest team to emerge as a prospective suitor for the 28-year-old ahead of the deadline on Friday.

Pereira has been a crucial player for Fulham since joining from Manchester United in 2022.

The attacker has started both of Marco Silva’s Premier League games this season, and after losing Joao Palhinha to Bayern Munich earlier in the summer, Craven Cottage will struggle to maintain Pereira, who has two years remaining on his current contract with the west London club.

Meanwhile, Forest’s attempt for Eddie Nketiah has collapsed, with insiders claiming the deal is unlikely to be renewed.

Arsenal striker Nketiah was on the verge of joining the City Ground team last week, with a physical scheduled.

However, the move has fallen through, and there are no indications that the agreement will be revived.

Crystal Palace have a long-term interest in Nketiah and are considering making a formal approach for the forward.
