Kelechi Iheanacho, a Super Eagles attacker, is attracting interest from Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town.

Iheanacho is a free agent after leaving Leicester City at the end of his contract.

According to Football Insider, Forest and Premier League newcomers Ipswich Town have both expressed interest in the Nigeria international.

The attacker has offers from clubs in Turkey and Greece, but Forest and Ipswich want him to stay in England.

The clubs will now make formal contract offers to the striker in the hopes of winning the race for his signature.

Iheanacho spent seven years at Leicester, moving from Manchester City in 2017, where he appeared 232 times and scored 61 goals.

Throughout his six seasons with the Foxes in the Premier League, he scored 30 goals.

He started only 12 games for Leicester City in the Sky Bet Championship previous season.
