Not Gibbs-White: Tottenham Hotspur Eyeing Nottingham Forest Winger

Tottenham Hotspur are keeping an eye on Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi as they aim to enhance their squad during the summer.

According to transfer insider Paul O’Keefe, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi. Spurs have reportedly identified the English wide winger as a target for the forthcoming transfer window.

Hudson-Odoi’s Impressive Form In The Premier League

Hudson-Odoi has had a good season at the City Ground, with a few standout performances in the final third for Nottingham. This season, the English prospect has played 35 games for his current club, scoring eight goals and providing two assists across all competitions.

The 23-year-old has been a consistent performer in the opposition half, with an average of 1.3 shots, 1.2 critical passes, and 1.5 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Premier League. He has also been efficient while distributing the ball from wide areas, completing 85.2% of his attempted passes in the top flight of English football.

His current contract at Nottingham will run out in the summer of 2026. Hence, Spurs would have to launch a big offer if they want to land Hudson-Odoi on the cheap later this year.

Will Hudson-Odoi Be A Good Option For Tottenham Hotspur?

Hudson-Odoi possesses the speed to cause difficulties for his marker out in the open spaces. He is a solid dribbler with the ball and can generate some attractive opportunities for those around him on the offensive end of the court.

The English superstar generates a lot of force with his shots, but he needs to find a method to be more productive in front of the opposing goal. He is primarily a left-sided wide player, but he can also play on the right flank or as an offensive midfielder in the center if necessary.

Hudson-Odoi would add pace and goals to Tottenham manager Angelos Postecoglu’s assault. He has Premier League experience and will settle in quickly at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium if Spurs can complete a deal for him this summer.

At 23, Hudson-Odoi will only get better with each year. Hence, he would be a great, long-term option for Tottenham to pursue later this year.
