“No Flags…”Club sends on strange message to fans from Burnley ahead of match after selling out Turf Moor

Before their match, West Ham sent a strange message to Burnley supporters after selling out Turf Moor.

The entire globe is now aware of how popular West Ham is everywhere they travel.

However, the Hammers supporters continue to bang out away ends over land and sea just to be sure.

We revealed last week that West Ham had sold out their 6,000 allotment for a midweek Carabao Cup quarterfinal match at Anfield, just a few days before Christmas.

West Ham pass on bizarre message to fans from Burnley

It follows that West Ham supporters, who are excited about the return of Premier League action this weekend, have also sold all of their seats at Turf Moor.

But as a result, Hammers fans have received a perplexing directive.

There isn’t room for flags at the game, therefore West Ham’s visiting supporters have reportedly been told by the Clarets not to bring any.

Flags banned and fans think they know why

West Ham’s fan services wrote on social media, “If you’re traveling to Burnley this Saturday, please note that flags will not be permitted into the away end due to the visitor’s section being sold out.”

Therefore, there won’t be any space for flags to be positioned or fastened.

“I want to reiterate that Burnley is the source of all of these flags. I hope this is useful.

Sure, West Ham plays at a sizable stadium with 62,500 seats, but how tiny is Turf Moor?

West Ham supporters immediately drew attention to the strange direction by pointing out that flags do not occupy any seats.

Many fans said it’s just a ruse to sneakily forbid Israel or Palestine flags from being flown during sports.

With a victory over the Premier League’s bottom team, West Ham may move up to seventh place in the standings.

On Saturday, Burnley will host West Ham at Turf Moor. Kickoff is at 3pm.
