Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis has been dropped from Nottingham Forest’s team for the 2024/25 season.

Dennis spent the first half of last season on loan in Turkey with Istanbul Basaksehir.

The former Club Brugge player returned to Watford for a second stint in the second part of the season.

The 26-year-old scored four goals in 17 league games for the Hornets, but it was insufficient for the Sky Bet Championship club to offer him a permanent contract.

Dennis has two years left on his contract at Nottingham Forest.

He joined the Reds from Watford in 2022 and has scored twice in 19 league games.

Forest registered his two compatriots, Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi.
