The Indianapolis Colts have not had an All-Pro pick since Jonathan Taylor in 2021, but two players could be in line for their first selections.

According to Matt Verderame of Sports Illustrated, the Colts may have two players earn their first All-Pro honors in 2024.

Braden Smith, the Colts’ right tackle, was the first player featured on the list.

“Smith has failed to receive Pro Bowl or All-Pro honors, owing primarily to his inability to stay healthy on a consistent basis. Consider this a wager on him doing exactly that in 2024. “Indy has a quality line, and the tackle combination of Bernhard Raimann and Smith contributes significantly,” Verderame wrote.

Smith suffered injuries during the 2024 season, and he had knee surgery this offseason. Smith was dominant on the field, however.

According to Pro Football Focus, Smith allowed no sacks and only two quarterback hits on 329 pass-blocking snaps in 2023.

Kenny Moore II, a slot defender with the Indianapolis Colts, was also included on this list.

“Moore has been one of the most productive and high-quality slot corners for nearly a decade. Moore, who is in his sixth season with the Colts, has one Pro Bowl appearance but is still seeking for the highest individual honor. “If he continues to play at a high level into his age-29 season, this could be his year,” Verderame wrote.

Moore had a rebound season with Gus Bradley’s defense following a difficult 2022 year. In 2023, Moore’s 96.2 passer rating allowed ranked 13th among cornerbacks with at least 260 slot coverage snaps.

If both of these Colts players have seasons that are close to All-Pro status, the team should be in good shape for the playoffs.
