Myles Garrett Recalls a Wild Story About A Referee Who Didn’t Make A Call

As one of the best defensive players in the NFL, Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett can be an absolute nightmare for opposing offenses because he can be virtually unblockable at times, making it extremely difficult for quarterbacks and referees to do their jobs.

Even though the Browns have had their share of problems this season, particularly at the quarterback position due to injuries, Garrett has been as consistent as ever as the team’s clear defensive leader.

Garrett has 13.0 sacks on the season entering Week 15, when the Browns meet the lowly Chicago Bears. He is three sacks shy of tying his career-high total in that category.

With Garrett expected to have a big day against the Bears, he recalled on a moment when he was being double-teamed and held at the same time, according to Hayden Grove of Cleveland.com.

Garrett has a valid point since it shouldn’t matter if he can get past a double-team while being held because all players should be treated equally regardless of talent or skill level.

Hopefully, for Garrett’s sake and the good of the Browns, he won’t have to deal with that officiating in the future, especially after publicly criticizing it.

Cleveland will want to keep winning football games in order to secure a position in the NFL playoffs and possibly make a deep run in the postseason.
