Murphy returns to eight-hole as Braves seek to keep their scoring surge continuing

Adam Duvall and Jarred Kelenic both hitting above Murphy is not something I thought I’d see this year.

Sean Murphy returns to the lineup as the Braves seek to keep the offensive momentum going. They lost despite having a top-25 team-game xwOBA this year and their second best xwOBA of the year. So it goes.

In this lineup, only Jarred Kelenic and Adam Duvall have ever faced Luis Medina. Last year, each went 1-for-3 against him, with both hits being singles; Duvall struck out twice while Kelenic struck out one.

Four of the players in this lineup had previously faced Morton, albeit only infrequently. Miguel Andujar has a double, two strikeouts, and three field outs in six plate appearances, while JJ Bleday has a walk and two field outs, Aledmys Diaz has a strikeout and three field outs, and Abraham Toro has a walk and a field out.
