Michigan Wolverines lost an outstanding defensive back to the transfer portal

The Michigan Wolverines have not lost many players since Jim Harbaugh left for the NFL.

Sherrone Moore was hired, and the team remained largely unchanged. A few fringe players choose to depart, but the NFL Draft has absorbed more talent than the transfer site. However, they could not remain immune indefinitely. Keon Sabb, a defensive defender, has declared he is joining the transfer portal.

The former four-star recruit appeared in all 14 games this season for the Wolverines. For a reserve player, his stats were impressive. He recorded 28 tackles, two interceptions, four pass breakups, and six passes defensed. His decision is likely due to a lack of playing time. Sabb never became a full-time starter at Michigan and is looking for a program that will allow him to play more. This is extremely common in college football. He should be extremely sought for in the transfer portal industry.

Window Is Closing

There is not much time for other participants to decide whether to stay or leave. When a coach leaves, players have a 30-day opportunity to use the transfer site. So far, most participants have chosen to stay put. Sabb was the first player with considerable playing experience to exit the program. If Michigan can retain its present lineup, the transition to the next system should be considerably smoother.

Is Michigan capable of making a significant impact by 2024?They have a lot of questions on offense, but I wouldn’t rule this club out for next season.
