Michigan is listed in the top seven by a 2025 four-star CB

With Graham, the Wolverines are really gaining ground.

Earlier this week, defensive back Alex Graham, a four-star prospect in the 2025 class, revealed his top seven, which was good news for recruiters. Michigan was one of the teams that was cut, along with Penn State, Colorado, Georgia, Alabama, and Utah.

The 185-pound, 6-foot-1 athlete attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Should the name sound familiar, it’s because Graham was born and raised in Michigan and was formerly a football player for Detroit Cass Tech in high school.

Graham completed his sophomore season with 25 tackles, six pass breakups, and five interceptions before transferring. However, he missed seven games due to injuries. Additionally, he guided Cass Tech to the Division I tournament semifinals in Michigan. Graham runs a 10.9 100-meter sprint in track and plays wide receiver and defensive back at IMG.

It’s also interesting that, at the beginning of his recruitment, Graham’s hometown Wolverines were the first to make an offer. Following his most recent visit on February 7, the Detroit Native chatted with EJ Holland of On3 and gave glowing feedback.

“It was a successful visit,” Graham remarked. “I had an excellent discussion with Sherrone Moore, the head coach. He’s a truly wonderful man. With him in charge, I have no doubt that the program is in excellent hands and will continue to be a strong contender in college football.

Most people believe Michigan has the best chance of landing Graham. The Wolverines have a 92.5% chance of landing him according to On3’s RPM model, while Allen Trieu of 247Sports has already recorded a Crystal Ball prediction in favor of the Maize and Blue.

Graham would be a fantastic addition to Michigan in the 2025 class at a position that is in dire need. A native youngster who is highly ranked (No. 159 overall on 257Sports’ aggregate) would blend in perfectly with Sherrone Moore’s Ann Arbor team.
