Michigan alum believes he has gained access to the minds of Alabama…

The College Football Playoff Semifinal clash in the Rose Bowl might be one for the ages.

Alabama and Michigan, two traditional college football powerhouses, square off on New Year’s Day for a chance to compete for the College Football Playoff National Championship. Michigan opened as a 1.5 to 2-point favorite in Las Vegas, and a Wolverine graduate believes his Alma Mater will beat Alabama by double digits. Former Michigan offensive lineman Taylor Lewan believes the Wolverines are tougher, better coached, and a better team overall.

Jermaine Burton, Alabama’s senior wide receiver, fired back, but Lewan believes he has gained access to the players’ minds. On social media, he responded to Burton’s remark, saying, “I have successfully infiltrated the minds of the Alabama players.” Michigan by a wide margin.”

In the 2019 Citrus Bowl, Alabama defeated the Wolverines 35-16.

Nick Saban and Jim Harbaugh will square off for the second time. As Saban seeks a seventh national championship as Alabama’s head coach, all eyes will be on Pasadena (Calif.) in 2024. Lewan believes Michigan has Alabama just where they want them.
