We’re in a similar situation, but we did waste an opportunity to gain ground.

The Jaguars have lost two games in the last two weeks, to the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns, giving the Colts a chance to win the division.

The Colts play the Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons, Las Vegas Raiders, and Houston Texans in their final four games of the season. The games against the Steelers and Texans are crucial, and the fact that they are at home helps. All four of those games are winnable for the Colts, and if they can capitalize on those opportunities, they might make a surprising push at the AFC South title if the Jaguars stumble late.

This weekend’s game against a 7-6 Steelers squad that is also in the Wild Card race is critical for Pittman and Indianapolis. A win on Sunday would solve a lot of problems for them.
