McKenna: No new injury concerns ahead of the Swansea trip

According to manager Kieran McKenna, the Blues breezed through their 4-0 victory over Millwall on Wednesday.

Town go to Swansea today ahead of Saturday’s showdown at the Liberty Stadium, which comes only three days after the trip to the Den.

McKenna told TownTV that the team is still resting from their great victory over the Lions. We’ll do a light session today and prepare to go again.

“We seemed to go through the game without incident. Of course, everyone is in excellent spirits, and we’re excited for the upcoming game.”

He said, “There isn’t much time on the grass, and preparation will be done differently, but we’ve had plenty of practice with it.

“We will be ready for the game at three o’clock on Saturday. We know it will need a significant amount of physical work, and we will need to play really well, but it is a game we look forward to.

“These busy spells of the season where games come think and fast are something that we relish.”

Midfield Jack Taylor is now out with a quad injury, and Janoi Donacien (groin) and George Hirst (hamstring) are still recovering from surgeries.

As of Wednesday evening, full-back Brandon Williams was still with Manchester United.
