Lions Week 13 Thursday Injury Update

The 2023 season has seen a number of injuries to the Detroit Lions offensive line.

Jonah Jackson, the offensive guard, has most recently missed the last two games due to a wrist injury. Jackson has missed every game but one since Week 6. In Week 12, the Lions lost 29–22 to Green Bay after allowing three sacks. The team missed his presence.

Jackson was fully active on Thursday and might make a comeback in Week 13 against New Orleans. Frank Ragnow, on the other hand, skipped practice on Thursday.

Ben Johnson, the offensive coordinator, is anticipating a strong performance from the offensive line, helped by Jackson’s possible return.

“I’m sure our guys will react brilliantly. It was definitely not the best offensive game we’ve played in the past 18 months; in fact, it was arguably the worst. They are aware of it, Johnson said. “I believe it manifested itself more in pivotal moments. Jared is getting hit on some of those fourth downs and some of those third downs. We obviously don’t desire any of that.

We are going to address that right away. I have to give Green Bay a lot of credit. They had a fantastic plan for a short week, and they played with such intensity that we were never able to settle in and get going. They deserve credit for that, and let us tell you, it was a fantastic learning experience. Every week, we must perform at our highest level.”
