Lions discloses roster move for week 16

The Lions have announced practice squad promotions before of their game against the Vikings.

Before their Week 16 game against the Minnesota Vikings, the Detroit Lions announced roster changes.

Prior to the game, the team announced that tight end Anthony Firkser and kicker Michael Badgley will be promoted from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday’s game.

The decision to promote both players is not surprising. This will be Badgley’s second appearance of the season. He beat out Riley Patterson for the job after the organization signed Hendon Hooker to the active roster on Tuesday.
