Lions claim to be considering signing a contract extension for a vital star

Currently, the Detroit Lions have an abundance of skill on both sides of the field.

They will be quite good for years to come if they can keep the core intact.

That’s why extending star receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has officially become their top priority this offseason.

Cam Marino says that they are on the approach of signing him to a three-year agreement costing roughly $25 million per year, which appears to be a good deal for a player of his level.

St. Brown has already established himself as a Pro Bowl caliber player.

Despite the surges of rookie tight ends Sam LaPorta and Jameson Williams, he has remained Jared Goff’s favorite throwing target.

Under Dan Campbell, the Lions have done an excellent job of building a talented roster.

They proved that their regular-season success was not a fluke by defeating the Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the playoffs, and they were even up double digits on the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game.

Campbell, like his players, will improve as a coach as he gains more experience, and they are widely projected to be one of the finest teams for many years.

As for St. Brown, he just set career highs in a variety of categories and was named to his first All-Pro team, so he has earned every penny of the new contract he is going to receive.
