Even though he’s leaving the booth, he’s staying connected to the Twins and will continue to serve as a team ambassador, representing the team at fan and community events.
The Terry Ryan Play Ball! Minnesota Award winner is Frank White, the Twins also announced. In addition to serving as a youth basketball referee and historian, White oversaw the Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) program for 23 years. She also assisted in giving marginalized adolescents access to athletic opportunities.
They will receive recognition at the 19th annual Diamond Awards on January 25 in downtown Minneapolis, along with Twins players who have already been named award winners.
