Latest on Blackburn Rovers’ interests to Birmingham City attacker

According to the Lancashire Telegraph, Blackburn Rovers are not currently interested in signing Birmingham City striker Lukas Jutkiewicz.

Rovers’ financial condition is now unstable because to changes in Indian government restrictions making it difficult for owners to move funds to the UK.

Many supporters have expressed concern about the club’s financial flow concerns, despite the fact that it was able to sign certain players in the summer without having to sell star midfielder Adam Wharton.

Ashley Phillips may have left, but Rovers will be pleased that they were able to bring in new players, though it is uncertain whether they will be able to do so this month.

Lewis Travis has been loaned to Ipswich Town, but no replacement has yet arrived at Ewood field. This is a significant loss given Travis’s impact in the middle of the field.

James Hill has also been recalled from his loan spell in Lancashire, leaving Blackburn with a lot of work to do in order to get back on track after some recent dismal performances.

Blackburn Rovers updates on Lukas Jutkiewicz

Jutkiewicz may have made 23 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring three goals, but he is not now an important player for the Blues.

In Tony Mowbray’s first game as manager, he made a brief appearance from the bench. However, he did not make the matchday squad for the FA Cup rematch against Hull City.

He was also an unused replacement in the three league games preceding Mowbray’s arrival.

While it’s possible that the experienced forward is considering leaving St Andrew’s, he is not currently on Rovers’ radar, contrary to another story.

Blackburn Rovers should focus on long-term additions.

This link was particularly noteworthy given that Jutkiewicz is now 34 years old.

With this in mind, he was never going to be a long-term choice for Rovers, despite being considered economical.

The fact that he is unlikely to cost a lot of money is a plus for Blackburn, who don’t want to spend too much money right now.

And if they don’t spend too much money, they may be able to keep Wharton, who is already a game changer at this level and will only become more financially important in the coming years given his long-term deal.

However, Rovers must consider the long term, and Jutkiewicz’s prospective transfer in the future will not generate a significant amount of money for the club if he does arrive at Ewood Park.
