Kieran McKenna accepts the fatigued Ipswich Town team did not perform well
|Kieran McKenna, Ipswich Town’s manager, confessed his fatigued side did not perform well in a 4-3 victory over Rotherham United at Portman Road on Tuesday night.
McKenna, on the other hand, commended his squad for once again finding a way to win, with Omari Hutchinson scoring the winner in the fifth minute of injury time, a minute after the Millers tied from the penalty spot.
The result moves the Blues up to third position in the table, trailing only second-placed Leeds United on goal difference.
“It was a bit of a wild game, wasn’t it?” McKenna said.
