Travis Smith Jr., a four-star wide receiver recruit, will announce his commitment on July 13.

According to 247Sports, Smith is expected to commit to the Tennessee Volunteers before making his official commitment. Smith was initially expected to pledge to Georgia, but this has altered during the last week.

Smith, the No. 15 wide receiver recruit in the class of 2025, is picking between Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee. Smith made formal visits to Georgia on June 1, Auburn on June 7, Alabama on June 14, and Tennessee on June 21.

Travis Smith plays football at Westlake High School in Atlanta, Georgia. The 6-foot-4, 190-pound wide receiver is rated as the No. 149 recruit in the country. According to 247Sports, the Westlake star is Georgia’s No. 20 recruit for the 2025 recruiting cycle.

Smith may not be Tennessee’s only major recruiting success. The Volunteers are also expected to lure four-star linebacker Jadon Perlotte away from Georgia.

The four-star wide receiver prospect competes in basketball, track, and field. Smith is a good student.

Kirby Smart and Georgia boast the nation’s third-best recruiting class. Four wide receivers and 19 overall recruits have committed to the Bulldogs’ class of 2025.
