The potentially crucial East Anglian derby between Norwich City and Ipswich Town at Carrow Road in April has been scheduled for television coverage.

The game will still take place on Saturday, April 6, but will start earlier at 12.30pm in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

In their first meeting in nearly five years, the cross-border rivals drew 2-2 at Portman Road in the lead-up to Christmas. It extended Norwich’s unbeaten streak in the fixture to 13 games (W7 D6).

Town are presently second in the Championship, 23 points ahead of a Canaries team that is barely outside the play-off spots.

Sky Sports has already selected 17 Ipswich games this season.
