Just In: Michigan Football Quarterback Is Leaving The Program
|With JJ McCarthy departing the program, there is a lot of speculation over who will take over as Michigan’s starting in 2024.
Jadyn Davis, a four-star Michigan football quarterback commit, is one of the most-anticipated players in Michigan’s newest class, even if he may not be ready by 2024. Davis, meanwhile, is once again on the decrease in national rankings, this time in the final On3 ratings for the 2024 recruiting class.
Michigan football quarterback falls in final 2024 recruiting rankings
In a few months, the 2024 Michigan football signees will become college freshman and prepare for spring ball, the first step before the upcoming season. The Wolverines are going through a lot of changes right now, from a new coach to a new quarterback, and the 2024 season is full of unknowns, including Jadyn Davis, the most highly ranked recruit in the 2024 class.
Jadyn Davis received Mr. Football North Carolina awards and more during his senior season, adding to the excitement among Michigan supporters since his pledge in March 2023. Of course, at the time, he was a composite five-star and one of the nation’s top quarterback prospects, but that is no longer the case.
Jadyn Davis drops another 19 spots to mid-230s
When it comes to the final On3 rankings for the 2024 recruiting class, the Michigan football quarterback signee falls further down the list. In fact, Davis has dropped 19 spots in the final rankings, from No. 218 to No. 237. Furthermore, he is listed as the No. 17 quarterback in his class and the No. 11 player in North Carolina — despite the fact that he has received multiple awards for being the state’s best player.
The accuracy of On3’s scouting report on Jadyn Davis remains to be seen, but the Michigan football signee is now going down in the final recruiting rankings.
