Juan Thornhill Offers a Brutal Message to Browns Critics

The Cleveland Browns are not playing games.

They talked a big game at the start of the season about how they were going to dominate on defense, compete for the division, and make the playoffs.

They accomplished this despite missing Nick Chubb and Deshaun Watson for the majority of the season.

That’s why star defender Juan Thornhill wanted to remind everyone who mocked him and his team of their current situation (via The Chosen Juan on Twitter).

Y’all remember week 5 when I said “BEST IN THE WORLD” and yall thought I was crazy. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Thornhill had previously declared in Week 5 that they had the best defense in the world, and it’s difficult to dispute with that statement now that the regular season is done.

The Browns’ defense assisted them in holding down the fort while they sorted out their quarterback dilemma.

The offense handed the ball over at an alarming rate, to the point that no other team with as many turnovers would have finished with such a solid record.

But Jim Schwartz’s squad always made sure to flip the field and give his offense another chance to score, and their efforts should not be overlooked.

The Browns will now fly to Texas to face the Houston Texans, another resilient club that advanced further than analysts predicted.

We’re in win-or-go-home zone now, so anything can happen.

Even if the Browns go one-and-done and are unable to build on their success with a deep postseason run, they deserve a lot of credit for what they accomplished this season.
