Jalen Hurts lauds Jalen Milroe of Alabama will compete in the College Football Playoff.

The Alabama Crimson Tide made the College Football Playoff after defeating the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship game. Former Alabama standout Jalen Hurts appears to believe that quarterback Jalen Milroe’s improvements over the season have played a significant role in their recent success.
Milroe has faced his fair share of difficulty this season, including a lengthy benching following an early-season loss against the Texas Longhorns in which he struggled greatly.ahead of the CFP, a great Jalen Milroe
“He’s had a great year,” Hurts remarked of Milroe. “He’s always been a unique player.” He’s from Texas. And he’s just kept growing and growing and growing, and it’s been a joy to see. So I’ve been rooting for him from afar, and I’m glad to see him make it to the Final Four. I’m glad to see him get the chance to lead his squad and perhaps win a national title, so he has my full support.”
Jalen Hurts understands the ups and downs that come with being Alabama’s starting quarterback. Hurts was Alabama’s starter in 2016 and 2017, but he was replaced by Tua Tagovailoa in 2018.
Hurts, of course, transferred to Oklahoma for the 2019 season, which led to his success in the NFL with the Eagles.
Hurts’ story at Alabama is an excellent model for a player like Milroe to emulate. And Milroe will try to construct his own story, which begins on New Year’s Day with a CFP semifinal battle versus Michigan.
