The Turkish media reports that Galatasaray is interested in Ipswich Town defender Leif Davis.

In recent days, it has been widely reported in Turkey that the Super Lig winners are trying to sign a left back before the transfer window shuts in order to strengthen their roster for next season’s winners League.

A Spor report on the latest developments in Galatasaray’s quest of a left back claims the Istanbul club is knocking on the door of the Ipswich player. Cimbom is reportedly preparing a €5 million offer for Davis, and the 24-year-old would be interested in the transfer.

With Davis’ contract expiring next summer, Galatasaray are trying to take advantage of the situation, and while Ipswich Town have the option of extending his present contract for another year, the Turkish media believe he does not want this.

Gala has been linked with Rangers left back Rıdvan Yılmaz, with reports indicating a potential move this week.

Davis played 44 games for the Premier League team last season, scoring three goals.
