Ipswich Town Plan To Re-sign Star

According to journalist Alan Nixon, Ipswich Town intend to offer 33-year-old Vaclav Hladky a new contract in order to keep him with the club in the future.

Hladky has played every minute of Ipswich’s Championship season, and the team is now three games away from automatic promotion to the Premier League.

The 33-year-old’s experience has been valuable for Ipswich, who have played open and expansive football all season.

Kieran McKenna loves his experience and wants him on the squad if they are promoted to the Premier League.

His current contract expires at the end of the season, although Ipswich plan to give him new terms in the summer.

The Tractor Boys are willing to grant him the stability of a three-year contract to retain him at Portman Road.

The Czech goalkeeper is expected to sign a new deal and remain with Ipswich.

However, a new contract for Hladky is expected to result in the exit of Christian Walton, who has been the number two all season.
