Carlton Palmer, an EFL analyst, believes that any Championship club, including Leeds United and Ipswich Town, would be onto a winner if they signed Kieffer Moore this month.

The AFC Bournemouth striker appears to be on his way out this month after falling down the Premier League club’s pecking order.

It was claimed earlier this week that a number of Championship clubs are interested in the striker, including Leeds, Ipswich, West Bromwich Albion, Middlesbrough, Birmingham City, and Cardiff.

There has been another update, with talkSPORT’s Alex Crook reporting that Bournemouth will let the player to leave if they can find a replacement first.

However, it appears like a number of Championship clubs are vying for Moore’s signing.

Carlton Palmer believes Kieffer Moore would be a good signing for any Championship club

Palmer commented on Leeds United and Ipswich Town’s interest in Bournemouth striker Kieffer Moore.

“Several clubs, including Leeds United, Ipswich Town, West Bromwich Albion, Middlesbrough, and Cardiff, are all interested in signing Bournemouth centre-forward Kieffer Moore,” he informed FLW.

“Bournemouth are understood to be keen to let the striker leave if they can fill his place in the first team squad.”

“Kieffer has Championship experience, scoring 20 goals in his first season at Cardiff, earning him a move to Bournemouth.”

“At 31, he is experienced and knows what it takes to get promoted out of the Championship, so any club that gets his signature is onto a winner.”

Kieffer Moore’s stats so far this season

Kieffer Moore has struggled since joining AFC Bournemouth in January 2022, as he has never been granted a run of games.

The attacker has had to settle for a lot of bench time, with only four appearances for the side in the 2021/22 season.

Moore had a few appearances for the Cherries last season but was constantly in and out of the team. This season, the veteran striker has failed to start a league game, instead coming off the bench seven times.

Moore has only started once this season, in the EFL Cup. This season, the forward has only scored one goal, which came in a win over Crystal Palace last month.
