McKenna reveals Jacob Greaves and Ben Johnson injuries.
Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna has announced that Jacob Greaves and Ben Johnson both missed today’s 2-0 home loss to Everton owing to injury.
Luke Woolfenden returned to the team for the first time since the 1-1 home draw against Fulham on August 31. Cameron Burgess made his Premier League debut, and Dara O’Shea switched to right-back.
McKenna said that Greaves had a hamstring injury in the West Ham game and will be out for at least a few weeks.
“Ben Johnson had an injury late in the training camp this week. We’re currently evaluating that one, but it’ll probably be a few weeks as well.”
Town were already without right-back Axel Tuanzebe, who suffered a bizarre hand injury.
