Ipswich striker left out of national team squad

Blues striker Ali Al-Hamadi has reportedly sought to be left out of Iraq’s future international games.

According to IQ PRO, the 22-year-old is experiencing pain from an old ailment and has requested to be rested for the World Cup qualifiers against the Philippines in Basra and then in Manila on March 21st and 26th.

Al-Hamadi previously earned 12 senior caps and scored three international goals.
