Ipswich Town are interested in signing Anel Ahmedhodžić, a central defender from Sheffield United, to improve their defense for the next Premier League season.
The 25-year-old joined Sheffield United in the summer of 2022 following strong loan spells with Hobro IK and Bordeaux.
Standing at 6ft 5in, the Bosnia and Herzegovina international has 24 caps, one international goal, and seven goals and two assists in 73 United appearances.
The defender was left out of United’s 4-3 victory over Wrexham last night. Manager Chris Wilder may be ready to sell him this summer, as he allows other players to earn their opportunities.
He would be a welcome addition to an Ipswich defence in need of reinforcements, and his height and muscle might be useful in the Premier League.
