Ipswich Confident On Striker Deal Despite Everton And West Ham Still Interested

Everton and West Ham United remain interested in signing Jaden Philogene from Hull City, but Ipswich Town are hopeful, according to the BBC.

Philogene shone at Hull in the Championship last season as the Tigers aimed to finish in the playoff places.

He is now a hot property this summer, and Barcelona has held talks about potentially bringing him to La Liga, with a bid being submitted.

The 22-year-old is highly sought after in the Premier League, and Ipswich are currently in advanced talks to sign him, with Philogene eager to make the transfer.

Everton and West Ham are also interested in signing the winger, but it looks Ipswich is now in pole position.

He could be joined in Ipswich by Hull teammate Jacob Greaves.

Kieran McKenna wants the defender at Portman Road, and it has been speculated that Ipswich might offer Hull £30 million for both Philogene and Greaves.

Joining McKenna’s vibrant Ipswich team appeals to Philogene, and Town will look to stay the course and complete a deal for him, which would be a statement signing considering other clubs’ interest in him.
