Injury Update: On the Jaguars’ opening play, a receiver injures his groin on a 26-yard reception

On the Jaguars’ opening play from scrimmage, Trevor Lawrence found wide receiver Christian Kirk for a 26-yard pass.

Kirk, however, fell to the ground unharmed and grabbed his inside leg right away.

He hobbled off the field and headed straight for the stadium’s training room.

Due to a groin injury, the Jaguars have listed Kirk as questionable to return.

Kirk had three touchdowns and 761 yards on 56 receptions going into Monday night.

Six plays later, Travis Etienne’s 4-yard run gave the Jaguars a lead. The previous play, a 2-yard run by Trevor Lawrence to the Cincinnati 4 on a fourth-and-one, kept the drive alive.

This season, it was the Bengals’ third touchdown on their opening drive.

Josh Allen and Travon Walker sacked Bengals quarterback Jake Browning on fourth-and-three, forcing them to travel just 51 yards.
