Injury Update: Eagles Cornerback out for Seahawks clash due to injury

Darius Slay Jr., a cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles, underwent arthroscopic knee surgery this week and will miss at least Monday night’s game against Seattle.

Eagles coach Nick Sirianni refused to reveal how much time Slay was likely to miss on Saturday. Slay, 32, has started 12 games for the Eagles this season. With a knee injury, he missed the Eagles’ loss to the Jets earlier this season.

This season, Slay has two interceptions. To fill Slay’s spot, the Eagles might turn to Josh Jobe or rookies Kele Ringo and Eli Ricks.

Sirianni declined to say who would start.

“Got the right guys,” he said.

The Eagles are 10-3 this season but have lost two straight games by 20-plus points.
