In Week 9, Seahawks fans’ trust was destroyed by just one small trick

It was not surprising that Seahawks fans lost all faith in their team after the Ravens handed them a 37-3 thrashing.

The Seattle Seahawks traveled to face the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9, and they were met with an unimpressive 37-3 score on the scoreboard. The Ravens were playing with all of their guns. Given that many fans experience ups and downs in their emotions throughout the season, it is not surprising that a loss of this magnitude would have an impact on the confidence of the losing supporters. That being said, it should not be shocking to see the fan confidence chart broken down by week.

Thus, while it hasn’t quite returned to the heights observed following the 30-13 defeat to the division rival Los Angeles Rams in the season’s opener, the Ravens have successfully cut it in half. Nevertheless, the Hawks host the Washington Commanders in Week 10, a matchup that should be much simpler to manage. It should come as no surprise to anyone that most supporters anticipate the Hawks to overcome the Commanders and win in Week 10.

The truth is that all eyes will be on the offense to see whether they can bounce back after a dismal showing in Baltimore, regardless of whether Seattle is able to win on Sunday afternoon. There is a lot of blame to go around, and although it is debatable who player deserves more blame—Geno Smith, Shane Waldron’s play calling, the offensive line’s inexperience, or Pete Carroll—nearly half of the supporters think there is enough to go around.

Hopefully, the Hawks can perform on the field in Week 10 to reduce finger-pointing and increase celebration, as there is a lot of blame to be assigned and finger-pointing.
