I am not quitting yet

Jarrod Bowen showed his delight at matching Paolo Di Canio’s Premier League record for the most goals scored by a West Ham player in a single season after scoring in their 2-2 draw with Liverpool.

Bowen feels positive about West Ham’s chances of European qualification and is determined to keep his scoring streak going.

Despite being denied twice by Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson, England forward Bowen managed to head home his 20th goal of the season following a perfect cross from Mohammed Kudus.

Later, after Liverpool took the lead, Bowen’s brilliant cross found Michail Antonio, who headed in the equalizer. This assist brought Bowen’s total to 30 goals this season, emphasizing his remarkable season, which coincided with his 200th appearance for West Ham.

Bowen is breaking records at West Ham and is in no mood to stop

Bowen pondered on his performance and resolved to finish the season strongly. “I converted probably the toughest chance of the lot,” he went on to say. “I believed Alisson would save it, but it ended up in the goal. Missing the past few weeks was frustrating; I could have scored higher. But I’m excited to be back, contributing and scoring.”

Bowen, who was recently injured, is looking forward to a successful finish, particularly with the UEFA Euro 2024 approaching. “I have to bring my best game every week. We have major games against Chelsea, Luton, and Manchester City coming up. “We can control our own destiny, and in order to qualify for Europe, we must win these games,” Bowen stated.
