Huge Boost! Browns Fans Get Exciting News About Defensive Star

Denzel Ward appears to be ready to return to work for the Cleveland Browns after being injured a few weeks ago against division rival Pittsburgh Steelers.

Without Ward on the field to help lead the defense, the Browns have lost two straight games against the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams, two teams Cleveland should have beaten had they been healthy on defense.

Despite those two expensive losses, the Browns have a chance to regain defensive form with arguably one of their finest players back on the field patrolling the secondary.

The Browns announced the return of the two-time Pro Bowler on Twitter on Wednesday, as the club prepares to face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 14 at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Ward’s return is obviously a step in the right direction for the Browns, who need to stop the bleeding as soon as possible if they are to clinch an AFC playoff spot.

Ward had two interceptions, ten passes defensed, and a forced fumble in 10 games this season, demonstrating how essential he is to this defense, which is in an elite class in the NFL this season.

Following the game against the AFC South-leading Jaguars, the Browns will end the regular season against the Chicago Bears, Houston Texans, New York Jets, and Cincinnati Bengals.
