“Holy Trinity….”: Vincent Kompany is all over the place and praises three players in particular

Elegant Vincent Kompany praised three important members of David Moyes’ “exciting squad” and gushed about West Ham.

Vincent Kompany at Burnley and David Moyes at West Ham have both accomplished outstanding things.

A manager with extensive experience in Europe squares off against a coach on the opposite end of the spectrum.

Burnley and West Ham play quite different games, with Moyes favoring a more risk-averse approach where possession is not as important.

Burnley has struggled since being promoted back to the Premier League, but Kompany has adhered to the exact opposite philosophy there.

Classy Kompany absolutely raves about West Ham

Many West Ham supporters believe that Moyes has the players on his team to play fast-paced, thrilling football.

It appears that Burnley’s manager shares their opinion regarding the caliber of players on the team.

Elegant Kompany has gushed about West Ham and praised three important members of Moyes’ “exciting squad.”

During his pre-game press conference, Kompany expressed his admiration for the way West Ham is assembling their team and squad.

And he has designated outstanding player Mohammed Kudus, destroyer Edson Alvarez, and Brazilian marvel Lucas Paqueta as West Ham’s holy trinity.

Burnley boss loves holy trinity in Moyes’ “exciting squad”

“You only need to look at the players they have and the investments they’ve made in certain positions to understand how strong of an opponent West Ham is,” Kompany remarked.

To be honest, I think the squad is great.

In this league, there is undeniable individual quality that one must honor. But demonstrating our capacity to be a part of this is our aim.

“Obviously, they have (Michael) Antonio, who is out, along with a few other aches and pains, but when you look at the midfield with Alvarez and Paqueta, you can see that they have good pass-picking and threat-posing skills, and Kudus, who I’ve known for a long time, makes for an exciting team from a neutral standpoint.”
