Hogs anticipated to play 2 JUCO standouts

This weekend’s official visitors for the FIU football game are anticipated to be Arkansas coach Sam Pittman and his coaching team.

Tight end Gregory Genross and offensive lineman Jaekwon Bouldin, both junior college prospects, intend to visit the Razorbacks.

Genross, a 6-7 and 230-pound student at Kansas’ Dodge City Community College, has received offers from many universities, including Arkansas, Mississippi State, West Virginia, Utah State, Houston, and New Mexico State.

As a freshman, he caught 10 passes for 92 yards and one touchdown. Genross was nominated to the first team of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference this season. He has 15 receptions for 172 yards and 2 touchdowns, including a long reception of 33 yards.

At John F. Kennedy High School in the Bronx, New York, Genross participated in two sports and was an excellent basketball player. Before moving to Kansas, he attended ASA College in Brooklyn, which was formerly known as Advanced Software Analysis.

Bouldin, a 6-7 and 340-pound student at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, has received offers from Tennessee-Chattanooga, Auburn, Mississippi State, Purdue, A&M, and the Razorbacks.

Before Zach Arnett was dismissed from his position as head coach of the Bulldogs on Monday, he intended to pay an official visit to Mississippi State.

Bouldin is anticipated to start at his new institution in January. He played football at Canton (Miss.) High institution before going to junior college. And so is Genross.

Keyshawn Blackstock, a former offensive lineman for Michigan State, was the guest of the Razorbacks last weekend for the Auburn football game. After departing Fayetteville, he indicated he intended to visit Louisville and Penn State. He had already visited Ole Miss and North Carolina State.

Blackstock continued, saying he intended to make an announcement sometime in the second week of December.
