Guy Moussi was highly impressed with’quite technical’ £10 million Nottingham Forest star

Guy Moussi has talked about one Nottingham Forest player who has really impressed him throughout the 2023/24 season.

The season ended yesterday with Forest defeating Burnley 2-1 at Turf Moor.

Chris Wood scored twice and was praised by two teammates as the Reds avoided relegation again.

The season as a whole was very dismal, with Forest suffering a four-point deduction that seriously threatened their Premier League fate.

The team can now look forward to another season in the top division, and Moussi has been pleased by one of its players.

What Guy Moussi has said about Forest star Murillo

When Forest signed Murillo they managed to catch Manchester City who had considering a £10 million of their own.

Now, he’s seen his stock climb dramatically, with several clubs exploring a move for Murillo this summer.

Forest may be forced to sell one of its top players during the transfer window, and the 21-year-old is expected to be a future star.

Moussi has enjoyed watching Murillo develop at Forest and believes he has really demonstrated his class this season.

The former Reds star told the Garibaldi Red podcast, “He’s a really good player, and I really like him.”

“He’s calm on the ball, composed, and very technical.

“Last summer, Forest was the ideal spot for him. I think he’s a really excellent player and he’s got big potential.”

Murillo will fetch significant profit if he’s sold

At £10 million, the defender might just go down as one of the best buys that Forest has ever made.

The club’s recruitment policy has been questioned in the past but for last summer’s business, they deserve kudos behind the scenes.

Murillo has started every Premier League match for Forest since his debut against Brentford in October.

The player has put up a number of excellent displays, and his value at the City Ground will have increased significantly.

Forest will continue to have financial challenges this summer, necessitating at least one sale.

If Murillo is required, Forest may expect to profit handsomely from the Brazilian superstar.
