According to The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman, the Packers have released CB David Long Jr.

Long has 96 career tackles, eight passes defensed, and one interception with the Los Angeles Rams, Las Vegas Raiders, and Carolina Panthers.

He was one of Los Angeles’ five starting defensive backs in the team’s 23-20 Super Bowl victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Feb. 13, 2022, at SoFi Stadium.

Long had four tackles in 50 defensive snaps, all in the first half. His interception return for a 3-yard touchdown in the Rams’ 34-11 postseason win over Arizona was one of his career highlights.

In six career playoff games, Long has 12 tackles (one for loss) and a pick-six versus Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray.
