Nubin is expected to be drafted in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. This season, he has five interceptions for Minnesota. The fifth-year safety has 53 tackles, four passes defensed, one sack, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery with one game remaining in the Quick Lane Bowl against Bowling Green on Dec. 26.
Ersery was a beast at left tackle for the Gophers, allowing only two sacks entire season. The 6-foot-6, 325-pound lineman has announced his return to Minnesota for a fifth season, providing transfer quarterback Max Brosmer with a high-end protector.
Ersery was one of just two tackles with top-five Pro Football Focus pass and run block grades, the other being Riley Mahlman of Wisconsin. Ersery’s 80.6 run block grade led the Big Ten, while his 79.0 pass block grade was fourth in the conference.
