After breaking the Bucks franchise record for most points in a single game against the Indiana Pacers two games ago, Giannis Antetokounmpo has now passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most rebounds in Milwaukee Bucks history!

Antetokounmpo had 26 points and 17 rebounds in 39 minutes of action against the Rockets tonight, adding to his early MVP candidacy. Antetokounmpo now holds the Bucks franchise record for most points, rebounds, and assists before turning 30. He is the only player to have led a franchise in all three categories, joining Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Kevin Garnett.

Damian Lillard Drops 39 Points and 11 Assists in Win Over the Houston Rockets

While Antetokounmpo made history for Milwaukee on Sunday, Damian Lillard had one of his best performances as a Buck. Shooting 5-8 from behind the arc, he finished with 39 points, 11 assists, and 5 rebounds. This is Lillard’s second 30-point game in a row, and he ties his season best in points. Khris Middleton, who didn’t play much in the first three quarters, came alive in the fourth quarter, scoring 14 of his 20 points and nailing a three-pointer to bring the score 112-106 with little over five minutes remaining. When Middleton is on the court, he continues to be a key ingredient for this Bucks team down the stretch.

Brook Lopez contributed 18 points and 6 rebounds in 31 minutes of action, including a game-winning three-pointer from the corner.Bobby Portis also contributed off the bench, scoring 11 points and grabbing six boards while shooting 5-7 from the floor.

Dillon Brooks Ejected in Last Minute of the Fourth Quarter versus Milwaukee

Dillon Brooks was removed from the game after being knocked out of bounds on a loose ball in the final minute of the fourth quarter after collecting his second technical foul. Brooks, who was visibly furious after not receiving a call on the shove out of bounds, was thrown out for expressing his displeasure to the official.

Rockets Head Coach Ime Udoka was also ejected from the game for entering the court and disputing the ruling after the play. Brooks finished with 18 points on 7-12 shooting before being ejected.

Milwaukee will now seek to extend their home victory streak against Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday at Fiserv Forum.
