Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck handed the Dawgs a huge boost when he announced his comeback for the 2024 college football season.

According to Pro Football Focus, Beck is the top quarterback who declined the 2024 NFL draft.

Beck’s comeback for his senior season caused a rippling effect throughout the Georgia roster. Following Beck’s decision, several seasoned offensive and defensive linemen declared their returns.

Beck played exceptionally well for the Bulldogs in his debut year as starter. Beck was chosen the second-team All-SEC quarterback. Georgia returns seven players that made All-SEC selections in 2023.

The Bulldogs are the preseason national title favorites (plus 300) on FanDuel. Georgia’s early success can be attributed to Beck’s comeback and the team’s overall talent.

Beck had the best PFF grade (91.3) among returning starting quarterbacks last season. In 2023, Beck threw 3,941 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and six interceptions.

Georgia’s 2024 schedule includes hard road games against Alabama, Ole Miss, and Texas, making Beck’s return crucial for the team’s national championship ambitions.
