Georgia tight end passes the first test at the 2024 NFL combine

Cincinnati — There was considerable conjecture that Georgia tight end Brock Bowers would be under 240 pounds and slightly under 6-3 at the NFL Combine.
On Friday, the former Bulldogs star addressed concerns about his size.
He weighed 243 pounds and stood 6-3 in height. Bowers’ size is strikingly comparable to former Iowa tight end Sam Laporta, who was outstanding as a rookie with the Lions last season.
Bowers still needs to go through drills, but his measurements are acceptable, especially given he is expected to perform well during the on-field portion of the combine.
