Brock Bowers, a tight end from Georgia, is making the move to the pros.

Bowers revealed his intention to enter the 2024 NFL Draft on Tuesday. The news was shared in an Instagram post by the two-time John Mackey Award winner.

“Words cannot express how grateful I am for what the last three years have brought me.” It has been an incredible honor and privilege to represent the university. “I have memories that will last a lifetime,” Bowers added.

Bowers expressed gratitude to his family, teammates, and the Georgia fans for their ongoing support. The 21-year-old also acknowledged coaches Kirby Smart and Todd Hartley with assisting him in his development as a player and as a person.

Bowers grew into probably the best tight end in college football during his three seasons at Georgia.

Despite missing 10 games due to ankle injuries, Bowers led the Bulldogs in receiving yards (714), receptions (56), and receiving touchdowns (6) this season. He finished his career at Athens with 2,538 yards on 175 catches and 26 total touchdowns.

The Georgia standout is widely expected to be a first-round choice in the 2024 NFL Draft. Bowers was ranked sixth best prospect by Pro Football Focus in their most recent big board.
